  • Monitoring Status: You can track whether maintenance cases are New, In Progress, Done, or Deleted, helping you stay organized..

  • Ensuring Completion: The case can only be closed once all tasks are completed, ensuring nothing is missed.

When to create Maintenance Case ?

A Maintenance Case is created when something needs fixing, like a leaking tap or broken light. Each case can include multiple tasks, depending on the issues in the property or unit.

Maintenance Status

Each maintenance has one of these four statuses:

  • New: The maintenance has been identified and is ready to be addressed.

  • In progress: The maintenance has been started and is being worked on.

  • Done: The maintenance has been completed.

  • Deleted: The maintenance is no longer needed or has been removed.

What are Maintenance Tasks?

Each Maintenance Task is a specific problem that needs fixing. Some examples of tasks are:

  • Fixing a wall tap leak

  • Repairing an air conditioner

  • Replacing a light bulb

  • Fixing plumbing or electrical problems

Task Status

Each task has one of these three statuses:

  • Pending: The task has been identified but hasn’t been worked on yet.

  • Assigned: The task has been given to someone to fix.

  • Done: The task has been completed.

Closing the Maintenance Case

The Maintenance Case can only be closed when all tasks within it are marked as Done. This ensures that every issue is fixed before the maintenance case ended.
