EasyRenz bills by active tenant, not by unit
The free allowance is 5 active tenants, not 5 units. This matters if you have vacant units: an empty unit does not count toward your total. You could have ten units listed in EasyRenz and, if only five of them currently have active tenants, you remain on the free Starter plan.

There is no trial period attached to this. If your portfolio stays at 5 active tenants or fewer, Starter stays free indefinitely.
What happens when you grow past 5
Starter stops at 5 active tenants, so managing a 6th means moving to a paid plan. One thing to be clear about upfront: paid plans start at a minimum of 10 active tenants and bill that full quantity — the 5 free tenants are not subtracted from it. The first paid step is 10 active tenants at RM4.00 each, which is RM40.00 per month, plus the cloud storage and sub accounts you choose.
Nothing you set up on Starter is lost when you upgrade. Your properties, tenants, agreements, deposits and billing history all carry straight over.
